Note 1: This was our longest day for miles covered and was possible because of the good weather and wide-open roads. Lost very little time going through towns since there were no large cites in this stretch. By the time we reached Edmonton the rush hour traffic had begun and we decided to stop on the east side of town so we could leave early in the morning to go through town. There are no by-passes around the larger cities like in the USA so we knew we would have a slow time if we did it at rush hour.
